Except they still haven't made any money really.... Or at least turned a profit. Still, I am pumped to see what their "car for the masses" will be like especially now that their will be two variations on it:

Tesla Model 3 will come in sedan and crossover variants

At a conference in Washington, D.C., Tesla's chief technical officer shared more details on the upcoming Model 3.- Road and Track Magazine.

They do have just such ambitious plans and are so popular with pretty much everyone that they can almost do no wrong. I mean their CEO is investing millions in AI, Space X (which is amazing), and the super futuristic Hyperloop technology. It's almost as if their plans are so cool we don't notice or care that they burn through money like wildfire.

All I can say is I hope their Model X SUV/Crossover vehicle is successful enough to keep them on track for the Model 3. If they reach that point I think they will become one of the most successful companies in American history. Mr.Musk, keep the enthusiasm going, you're a modern mad scientist!
